frequently asked questions

Welcome! We know you might have a few questions before joining us, so we’ve put together the answers to the most common ones.

What is Slow Water Retreat?

Slow Water Retreat is a thoughtfully curated experience designed to help women reconnect with themselves and a community of like-minded individuals. Through workshops, guided experiences, and intentional downtime, we provide a space to rest, reflect, and rejuvenate.

Who leads the experiences?

All workshops and experiences are led by experienced professionals in their fields. From yoga instructors to wellness coaches and creative facilitators, each guide brings expertise, warmth, and support to ensure a safe and meaningful retreat.

When and where does the retreat take place?

The retreat is held at our main campus at Pink River Ranch, with the river nearby for reflection and relaxation. All participants receive detailed schedules upon registration.

What accommodations are available?

We offer on-site lodging options, including tent camping and glamping Airstreams. Accommodations are separate from day-of tickets, so you can reserve your spot in advance to ensure the experience that fits your needs.

  • Tent Camping: Single 4-person (or smaller) tents, walkable to the main campus, shared restrooms.

  • Glamping Airstreams: One queen bed, ideal for up to two guests, fully outfitted for comfort.

Booking in advance is highly recommended as spots are limited.

What if there is severe weather?

The retreat is rain or shine, but in the case of severe weather, the event will be postponed to a later date for safety. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled retreat, you will receive a full refund minus a $25 administrative fee.

Can I attend if I’m new to retreats or wellness experiences?

Absolutely! Slow Water Retreat welcomes women at all levels. Our activities are designed to be approachable, and our facilitators ensure everyone feels supported and included.
